# No. 19 – Astrophagen

Forms shifting from angular to rounded, unfolding rhythmically — metamorphosis as a principle linking nature, culture and cosmic order.

- **Completed:** August 24, 2025
- **Size:** 70 × 50 × 3 cm
- **Edition:** Unique artwork, handcrafted
- **Material:** NPA Nordiskt Papper AB – Colored paper rapeseed yellow 120 g/m², acid-free, pH-neutral, lightfast, matte, 100% environmentally friendly ingredients
- **Substrate:** BRAMANTE Blackboard, 2200 g/m², 70 × 50 × 0.3 cm
- **Frame:** black lacquered wood
- **Parts:** 468 transitional bodies

The strictly geometrically arranged transitional bodies are reminiscent of abstract organisms whose forms unfold rhythmically. Their shift from angular to rounded structures points to the ongoing process of metamorphosis. The composition addresses transformation as a universal principle that is equally reflected in nature, culture, and cosmic order.
