Exhibition "Geheimnis Papier 2023"
Masterpieces of Paper Art - Schloss Burgau (Düren)
I am very happy about my first exhibition. Here is an excerpt from the press release of the City of Düren:
This year’s exhibition demonstrates how multifaceted and versatile the medium of paper can be in the visual arts.
Six artists from across Germany, some of whom exhibit internationally, were invited for the presentation: Walter Dohmen, Setsuko Fukushima, Franz-Josef Kochs, Aja von Loeper, Maria Elisa Quiaro, and Larisa Semke.
Larisa Semke presents some of her “Larigamis” at Schloss Burgau. These are large-format complex geometric shapes, structures, landscapes, and floral-looking objects created using the origami technique.
The exhibition “Geheimnis Papier” at Schloss Burgau can be visited until January 7, 2024. Opening hours are Wednesdays and Saturdays from 2 PM to 5 PM and Sundays from 11 AM to 5 PM. Admission is free.
Three of my works are on display there:
Update: Due to the great success, the exhibition has been extended until January 21, 2024!
