Impressions of Nature: Paper as Memory
Exhibition in Denmark
The IAPMA Paper Art Biennale 2026 in Silkeborg, Denmark, is dedicated to paper as a living palimpsest — a material that preserves traces of time, nature, and human presence.
International artists present works in which paper becomes a vessel of memory: through folds, impressions, material transformations, and inscribed narratives. The exhibition at the Art Centre Silkeborg Bad invites visitors to explore the profound connection between body, earth, and memory, while also celebrating the 40th anniversary of the International Association of Hand Papermakers and Paper Artists (IAPMA).
