No. 13 - Exoresonance
“Exoresonance” features handcrafted dodecahedrons made from sustainable recycled paper with natural inclusions from coffee production. The work addresses ecological responsibility and highlights the importance of paper as a valuable natural resource. The arrangement of geometric shapes in a concentric wave structure symbolizes nature’s cycles and illustrates the interactions of our ecosystems.
An eccentrically placed golden ring breaks through the harmonious pattern, pointing to human influences on these natural processes. This subtle disruption prompts reflection on the fragility of our ecosystem and the consequences of human action. The choice of materials — recycled paper and waste from coffee production — emphasizes the urgency of sustainable resource management and the creative reuse of seemingly exhausted materials.
The work challenges us to view paper not merely as an everyday commodity but as a valuable good that requires mindful, globally responsible action. It opens a dialogue about consumption behavior and the protection of our natural resources.
