No. 7 – 100 Fragments Paper Relief by Larisa Semke

The presented work consists of 100 individually folded paper pyramids arranged in a seemingly random scatter, yet upon closer inspection revealing a well-considered harmony and organic flow.

In the center, the pyramids reach their greatest height, creating a central peak area. Towards the outside, they gradually become flatter, creating a seamless transition between dimensionality and the flat plane.

The white of the paper interacts with light, creating multifaceted shadows that highlight the geometry of each element and produce a lively interplay of individual forms.
