No. 10 - Singularity

“Singularity” is a paper sculpture symbolizing the competition between light and darkness, centered around a mysterious black hole.

The sharp, black spikes incline in strict symmetry from the center outward, as if being swallowed by the gravity of darkness. At the same time, individual white spikes break through the order, like rays of light fighting against the infinite pull of darkness.

The work represents the balance between these two primal forces – as if light is being swallowed by darkness, yet never completely. The white spikes function as the last traces of a hidden energy that glows in the midst of darkness and radiates hope.
