No. 16 - Orbium
Orbium, derived from orbis (circle) and equilibrium (balance), unites spiritual purity with the precision of “sacred geometry.” Its symmetrical, sculptural form conveys order and harmony, while the tilted tips suggest subtle movement.
The form evokes the dynamics of water: the concentric waves that spread after a droplet falls or the swirl of a current circle. Thus, the work connects thoughts of movement, depth, and flow with the clarity and mutability of the element water.
The white coloring enhances the purity and elegance of the design, directing focus to the geometric perfection while playing with light and shadow. It evokes a mandala, the cyclical nature of life and eternity, while the fragility of the paper creates a delicate balance between transience and permanence.
The work appears both meditative and futuristic – an ornament of structure, control, and perfection that hovers between spirituality and modern aesthetics.
